The Role of the Content Coordinator is to create all content needed for One Thing Marketing and client marketing strategies. This person will be in charge of all stages of the content creation process. Work with team to manage web design and marketing projects. Responsible for developing, managing, and implementing marketing strategies and website updates for clients.

Job Responsibilities:

Content Marketing

    • Handle all stages of the content creation process (including but not limited to: assisting in strategy creation, researching, outlining, proofreading, and finalizing) 
      • Outlining skills will be more prevalent than formally writing an entire article
      • Meet with clients when needed for content development
    • Continually learn to increase effectiveness in copywriting skills and conversion optimization

Website Design

    • Assist team in website design tasks
      • Conceptualize, design and maintain websites for new and existing clients

Project Management

    • Account management over assigned clients
      • Work with team to create the strategy and oversee the implementation of strategy
      • Work with team to ensure that timelines are met by either by completing the work yourself or  assigning tasks to the team or VA’s
      • Sole responsible person to ensure that all tasks and strategies for assigned clients are completed in full and on time
      • Work to ensure client satisfaction with existing and new clients

VA Management

    • Manage Virtual Assistants (VAs) as needed or assigned (includes assigning work that is ongoing or one-time)
      • Check and verify VA/freelancer work
      • Hold VAs to the same standard as team members and address issues, in the same manner, you would a peer


    • Ongoing management of daily workflow and tracking time
    • Manage/coordinate miscellaneous projects requested by the Owner
    • Employee Training
    • Researching new software, programs, or strategies to find better solutions and how to utilize those methods when needed

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced in content development, marketing, and writing
  • Self-learner, strong work ethic
  • Self-starter, with little need for supervision and a strong desire to learn
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively. Set and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s Degree (english, journalism, marketing or business preferred)
  • Flexible and high ability to change and adapt

On-site training will be provided. Will be crossed trained on other marketing needs, client tasks, SEO, analytics, website design, and social media.
